Bonheidon 2* 🔥

A quieter Hickstead than usual this week, just taking a couple of young ones.

Kiki went on Wednesday and picked up another lovely double clear in a technical newcomers 🦄

Santa gaining great experience on the grass to qualify for the 6yo final 🙏  a few green mistakes in the final but showing his scope and ability round a tough 1.30-1.40 class 🌟

Fabulous week at the Great Yorkshire Show 🔥

Marvin placed 5th in the 150 jump
off class the first day and then jumped a class round in the prestigious “cock of the north”, our first 160 🫶🏻✈️

Amigo jumped a super round in the 150 accumulator on tuesday, we jumped our first 155 on wednesday and topped off the show with a 5th place in the 145 Great Yorkshire challenge jump off class this afternoon ❤️

Antonia has been on Nations Cup teams with ponies , Juniors and Young Riders.

The weather took a turn for the worst the last week of SST ‘22, and as a result much less jumping took place! 

Marvin jumped the first day for a clear in the 4* 140, and G Star flew to another 🥇 place in the 4* 130; that then concluded their jumping for the tour as the rain continued! 

Amigo jumped very well in the big tour classes, on the last day putting in a great performance in the 150 LR, invaluable experience for the combination 🤞🏻

The horses now head home after a (longer than expected) successful tour, looking forward to spending some down time in the field before the season ahead ✨

Big Fred (Patton M) jumped well in the 6yo classes getting some great experience. 
Marvin had an unlucky show but jumped some good rounds nevertheless. But the star of the show was Rocky (Amigo) who jumped some fabulous clear rounds to in the 2* International, finishing today with just 1 time fault in the 1.40. A huge thank you to Louise Simpson for the great help and support. 

A great week at Hickstead

Antonia has been off to a flying start over the first two days at The Science Supplements All England Tour.

Having won the The LeMieux Hickstead 1.30m Open qualifier on the opening day on Marvin Van De Waterhoeve, Antonia also won the same class on day 2 riding David Simpson's Ballon Cruise.

David also owns Milburn Phoenix, whom Antonia has just navigated to 3rd place in the Al Shira'aa 5 Year Old Star Of The Future Championship in the International Arena.

A strong start at Hickstead

Marvin van de Waterhoeve started the tour well, jumping clear everyday in the 4*. G star Blue also showed her class, with clears and placings, finishing with a fabulous round in the accumulator class with a joker standing at 145.

Vilamoura 2021 - Week 1

Marvin jumped an effortless clear in the 140, finishing 12th. He then carried on his good form to jump a clear in the world ranking 145. Drawn first to go in the 3* 150 Grand Prix, Marvin jumped a great round to top off the weekend! After a covid induced break, G Star gained confidence with a super clear in the 130 class! 

Vilamoura 2021 - Week 2 

We took the horses out for one of the last shows of the year, and they didn’t disappoint! Our lovely Longwood 5yo jumped a lovely clear round, Tigger our 6yo flashed his class at his first show out in a while. Patton M won the 110 and Marvin also took a win later in the day! 

Pyecombe day show

A great end to the season, 4 horses and plenty of clear rounds! Our lovely young horses both jumped clear earlier in the day, Patton M clear in the 110 and G Star picked up a 1st and 2nd in the 110 and 120🌟

The first day of jumping at the pre-sunshine tour, Antonia had a freak accident where a horse slipped over on the concrete, resulting in her breaking her ankle. Being unable to ride, the team decided to stay out here to allow the horses to enjoy the lovely weather and great facilities under the guidance of other riders. It’s taken a long 6 weeks or so, but Antonia is finally back in the saddle and looking forward to competing all 4 horses this weekend at the amazing Sunshine Tour (week 4). 

Freak accident at pre-sunshine tour

With Antonia unable to ride, Nicolas Toro took over the reins of Amigo and Patton M, and Harrison Hattea of G Star Blue and Marvin van de Waterhoeve. All the horses jumped clear rounds, Patton in the YH 7yo classes, G Star and Marvin in the 130 classes, and Amigo in the 135/140’s. A good start to the tour!

Pre-Sunshine tour week 1

After jumping just Amigo the previous week to pick up clears in the 4* 135 classes, Antonia jumped 2 horses this weekend. Marvin van de waterhoeve jumped some excellent clear rounds in the 4* classes, as did Amigo. The highlight this week however must be Amigo’s beautiful double clear in the 4* 145 class! Good ponies!

Antonia was delighted to be back jumping all 4 of her lovely horses this weekend!

• G Star Blue clear and placed 2nd 🥈 3rd 🥉 & 6th over the weekend in the 2* medium tour 
• Patton M clear everyday in the YH classes 🤩 
• Rocky jumping super including a lovely clear in the 2* 140 🐒
• Marvin finishing a good weekend with a clear in the 2* LR 145 Grand Prix 🦄

Sunshine tour week 4

This was a week to remember! The horses were all on great form; 
G Star Blue (the speed queen) whizzed to a first place finish in the 4* 130 and 4th in the 135.
 
Patton M showed his class, impressing with 2 beautiful clear rounds in the 1.30m 7yo classes. He is one to watch! 

However, Amigo was the highlight of the show, taking the WIN in the 4* 140-145 class out of a large class! His week also included a 3rd in the 140 the previous day. 

So happy with these lovely horses 💪🏻

Sunshine tour week 5!✅

All the horses were good despite battling challenging weather conditions this week! 

Patton M has now finished his Spanish debut after another good week of jumping in the 7yo 130 classes, and is having next week off then will have a holiday on his return to England. 

Marvin and Amigo were good in the 4* medium and big tour, helping Antonia to gain valuable experience around some bigger tracks!

However, G Star Blue stole the show with a 2nd, 2nd and finally a well deserved win on the final day of competition in the 4* medium tour! Star by name, star by nature! 🌟 

Antonia is looking forward to her final week competing in Spain next week, but is also looking forward to getting back to England to get some of her promising young horses out to some shows.

Sunshine tour week 6👏🏻

We took a group of horses, all of them were super. Highlight of the day was Amigo winning his class🥇

Keysoe day show

Antonia is delighted to have been picked to represent the British team in Fontainebleau, France, the last weekend of April! She will take Marvin as her team horse, and Amigo & G star for the U25 classes🇬🇧🌟

Nations cup selection

A great weekend of jumping commenced for our lovely team of horses;

Marvin jumped beautifully the first day in the 145 warm up class, and was then the pathfinder for the GBR🇬🇧 team the following day in the Nations cup. Continuing his form he jumped a beautiful clear inside the time round a technical track. His weekend was topped off with a 5th place in the YR Grand Prix, clear jumping just 1tf keeping them out of the jump off!

Amigo started his show with a win 🥇 in the U25 big tour, then further picking up 2x top 8 placings in the 145 classes😍

G Star was a star as ever, also taking a win 🥇 and a 6th place! 

Fontainebleau Nations cup🇫🇷

We took Amigo to one of Antonia’s first county shows, and he jumped a very respectable round in the 150 Area trial. It is all fantastic experience and he coped very well with a lot going on. The pair are looking to continue jumping in the county national circuit in the upcoming months! Next stop : South of England Show

It was also Patton’s first look at that kind of environment, but he took it all in his stride to jump double clear and place 5th in the fox hunter class.

Suffolk County Show

Bolesworth 3*, up in Wettenhall, was a good week full of big fences and tough courses. we had a good show, experience being gained round some big tracks. Amigo jumped the 145 LR ranking class and the 150 throughout the week, Marvin had an easier week in the 140’s. Patton M jumped the age classes and was the star of the show, jumping clear the first 2 days and jumping the 7yo 135 for just one late fence falling. 
Overall a good week at a beautiful venue 🤞🏻

Bolesworth 3*

We took 3 horses on multiple day trips to Hickstead to jump round the national classes and give them a run around before Bolesworth 3*.

They were all good and pleased to be out;
Patton jumped round the big 135 7yo classes gaining a lot of experience, and Marvin cruised round the 130. Amigo finished 5th the first day in a large class to qualify him for the main ring final, where he finished 7th 🙌🏻

Hickstead National

We just took a day trip up with Amigo to jump the 150 area trial, he was unfortunate with a breath of a vertical meant a late falling fence, however delighted with how easily he cruised round. Another round at that height which is such good experience for Antonia and the horses 🤩

South of England Show 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 

Today was a bittersweet day as we said farewell to the lovely G Star. She has gone to a very talented 12yo boy who plans to jump the children on horses’ tracks with her; we are so excited to watch how they progress together. 

We have fantastic memories of the 11yo mare who we have owned for the last 4 years; she has done wonders for Antonia’s confidence, and taught her a lot, mainly how to up the pace in speed classes! She is a real winner, and a trier through and through. 
We are lucky to have owned such a lovely mare and will continue to watch and support her in her new home 🌟

We took both marvin and amigo for a spin round at the national championships, and they were great. Some super rounds jumped finishing with the final day being the 150 Grand Prix

British National Championships 

Only Marvin out this weekend, and what a great weekend it was! Clear in the 1.50m area trial for 5th place, and clear again in the 1.55m Grand Prix for 7th 🌟 

Shrewsbury Flower Show 🌺 

We had the pleasure of having G Star back for the weekend to accompany Marvin and Tigger at the 2* in Wales. Tigger found it very educational and showed improvement, jumping some lovely clear rounds 👍🏻

G star was fabulous as ever, we used it as a training show for her new rider, and she placed 9th in the 1* Grand Prix 💫 

Marvin was on great form and jumped the big 2* classes, finishing with a 9th in the 145 Grand Prix around a very technical track 🦄 


Chepstow 2*

Antonia started at the University of Nottingham this month. The hope is to find a good balance between further education and keeping the horses going at a high level. Antonia is keen to add another “string to her bow” whilst keeping up her showjumping career 🤞🏻

After a mandatory summer holiday, our lovely 7yo Patton M went to a local show and came back with 2 double clears!🌟 We have high hopes for this superstar 🤞🏻

After a short mandatory holiday, Marvin and Patton ventured out to arena uk, 4 classes and 4 double clears jumped! couldn’t ask for much more from these lovely boys🌟

We took Marvin back up to Arena UK on Halloween weekend, he jumped a foot perfect clear in the warm up 135 class, then the most unfortunate touch on the last vertical of the 140 U25 class kept us out of the jump off. Always come away pleased with this lovely guy🫶🏻

Took Patton M out for a spin round at Felbridge, and he gained his last foxhunter double clear ready for next year💪🏻

Super Sentower✨

The horses continued their good form, marv was his usual super self finishing 2nd in the 1.40 jump off class the first day, then a super round in a touch 145 grand prix. Patton learnt a huge amount, coped well with the smaller ring and big atmosphere jumping 2 very nice rounds

Lichenvoorde youth show

the first training session of the year occurred at the fantastic british showjumping centre in Leistershire. Antonia took Marvin and Patton, and they both were super. The training was educational, and included more than just the riding; growing your social media, mental health in the equestrian world, a personal seminar with Iain Graham… it really was a great experience for all.

Gold development programme

We took out Rocky, Marvin and Freddie for the first proper show of the year, and came back with 5/5 double clears over the fences (Antonia was a little slow 🐌 ) 
Freddie jumped clear in the 120, Rocky and Marvin both double clear in the 130 & 140, picking up a 5th and 2x 6th placings 🤍

We just took Fred up to arena UK, and he was great jumping a lovely double clear in the 120. Looking forward to seeing his progress this year 👌🏻

Addington

Can honestly say the camps exceeded all expectations, providing education on subjects such as equine bio security, social media and mental health within the sport. The group had 1-1 eye opening sessions with master saddlers and farriers. We were challenged with improving our sport and conditioning over a couple of months and improving our media performances, as well as our riding under the eyes of Matt and Nic 🤞🏻

Amigo and Patton enjoyed their first international of the year 

Amigo jumped well in the big tour, whilst Patton flew round the 1* gold tour, highlight being 2nd in a fast 125 accumulator ✨

Today was a day to remember! Marvin and Antonia came out on top in the Royal Windsor U25 defender class; the pair were drawn 5th in a 6 horse jump off, and cinched the title with 1.62 seconds to spare 🔥

Antonia’s first GCT, and what a fantastic experience! Marvin jumped a beautiful speedy clear the first day in the 2* 1.40 for 5th 🏅 Grand Prix day came around, and after a foot perfect first round, the last fence falling in the jump off cost them the win😅 the pair finished 4th 🇬🇧

Patton jumped a lovely clear day 1, and finished with just an unlucky rail in the 1.30 jump off final . More to come for this big guy! 

London Global Champions Tour 🇬🇧 

Super weekend held at the beautiful Longines Tops Arena 🤞🏻

Marvin jumped beautifully all week;, an unfortunate miscommunication down a distance meant the pair took a detour in the 2* Grand Prix, but were clear over the fences ✨

Easy Jet made an impression at his first international with Antonia, and flew round the 1.35’s jumping a lovely clear round 🤞🏻

Amigo came home with a super clear in the 2* 1.45 longines ranking 💯

Valkensvaard GCT 🇳🇱 

After a quiet few weeks since Hickstead, the horses arrived in Italy 🇮🇹 ! They kicked off their tour nicely, Patton M was clear everyday in the 1* Gold tour 🤞🏻
Amigo jumped a fast clear round the first day, and then a super round in a huge 3* ranking class for an incredibly unlucky 4fts 😅
Marvin jumped beautifully all week for also a super unlucky early fence in the 3* 1.50 Grand Prix 🦄
